Our Craft
The story behind every knot, thread, and stitch we make.
Our Story
Rooh-e-Riwayat began with a simple belief — that the crafts of our grandmothers deserve a place in modern homes, made exactly as they always were. Every macramé knot, every embroidered motif, every handwoven Multani pattern carries forward a tradition that machines were never meant to replace.
We started small, working directly with artisans across Pakistan who still practise these techniques by hand — not because it's efficient, but because it's honest. What we make is slower, occasionally imperfect, and entirely real.
Our Mission
Every piece we make exists to keep a technique alive — macramé, Multani weaving, embroidery, and crochet — passed hand to hand rather than machine to machine. Our aim is simple: give these crafts a modern home, without changing what makes them worth keeping.

From the Founder
I grew up watching the women in my family knot, weave, and stitch — not as a hobby, but as something passed down like a language. Rooh-e-Riwayat is my attempt to keep that language alive, and to let it live in homes far beyond where it started. Every piece you see here has been touched by hand, start to finish — nothing here is mass-produced, and it never will be.
